The MEL 2011 Integral Skin Foam system is specifically developed for the production of hand and foot prosthetics. Derived from developments in shoe sole production, the MEL 2011 Integral Skin Foam system is highly valued for its ease of molding; it allows

• For obtaining excellent mechanical resistance
• For obtaining a waterproof and resistant skin
• For covering a hardness range from 65 Shore A to 80 Shore A by modulating the molded density between 350 g/L and 700 g/L

The Mel 2011 Integral Skin Foam system is a two-component system intended for application via a High or Low Pressure machine.

The polyol is a composition based on polyether polyols, catalysts and stabilisers, 100% reactive and “low fogging”.

The isocyanate is a modified MDI.
